Description
Is your child struggling with anxiety? Our online SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) class can help! As a parent, it can be challenging to know how to best help your child when they're struggling with anxiety. That's why we offer a non-judgmental environment for parents to connect with one another and learn new, research-backed strategies to support their children. Led by a SPACE-trained clinician, our 10-session program is designed to help parents understand their child's anxiety and learn practical tools to support them.
SPACE is a research-informed, parent-directed treatment for childhood anxiety developed by Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center. Each week, you'll join an online class and learn new research-backed tools to support your child. The program is structured to provide a mix of psychoeducation and skill-building activities, ensuring that you'll have practical strategies to implement at home. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to connect with other parents who are going through similar experiences and gain support from our experienced facilitator.
If you're interested in joining our SPACE program, please contact Ben Esch (AMFT #133743) for any questions and to reserve your spot in the class.
