Description
Pilates Group Therapy: Pilates is exercises performed on a mat to promote strength, stability, and flexibility. Helps develop the body through muscular effort that stems from the core. Becoming more aware of sensations in the body, memories can be processed and released, relieving the symptoms. Neuroplasticity- rewiring the brain through Pilates.
Some props are utilized in this class, such as hand weights/dumbbells, fitness circles, yoga block, and ankle weights.
Props are not necessary to participate in class.
