Group Therapist
Brandy Rogers is a mental health therapist serving individuals in Maine. She has advanced training in the area of perinatal mood disorders. Brandy works with individuals navigating their reproductive and fertility journeys. Many of Brandy’s clients come in to address transitions related to perinatal mental health + wellness, identity shifts, parenthood, pregnancy loss, fertility considerations, relationship concerns, and more.
Brandy is trained in person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness, in which you'll discuss thoughts, feelings, and behavior; later linking those with your values and what is most important to you in your life.
In session, Brandy utilizes breathing exercises, creative expression, and experiential self-reflection activities. This approach supports clients to develop greater self awareness, improve assertiveness skills, and identify + access support.
Brandy's style is warm, down-to-earth, and grounded in science. When clients first start therapy, Brandy focuses on understanding them and their unique situation. Next, she works with her client to determine personal goals for care.
Brandy received her Master Degree in Counseling from University of Southern Maine. She has worked at Art of Awareness Intensive Outpatient Program and Violence No More where she supported individuals and groups using self-reflection, creative expression, and experiential + mindfulness exercises. Outside of her private practice, Brandy enjoys knitting, reading, and keeping up with her two young children. Brandy offers both in-person and remote therapy sessions.
