Group Therapist
Tara Behr is a Licensed Professional Counselor working with people suffering from Complex-PTSD, addiction, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, attachment issues, grief and bereavement, and childhood trauma. She works with adolescents and adults who are wanting to feel a sense of safety, creativity and agency in their lives.
Her therapy approach is holistic, trauma-informed and person-centered. She centers the therapeutic alliance between herself and her client. From there, she draws on her skills and expertise in existential therapy, eco-psychology, EMDR, and somatic tracking and a mindfulness-based approach. She will support you in moving from surviving life to thriving in life.
Tara is studied in developmental trauma, eco-psychology, Jungian psychology and contemplative mindfulness-based practices. Her office is in Cheyenne Canyon, Colorado Springs, but she also works with clients online in virtual sessions.
