Group Therapist

Dr. Steve Rothenberg is a Clinical Psychologist in Boston, MA who specializes in relationships, anxiety, depression, group therapy, and mindfulness practices. While he works with teens and adults across the lifespan,  he particularly enjoys working with young adults and college students, in individual, group and couple therapy. His favorite clients are individuals who are committed and ready to do the work.

Dr. Rothenberg also offers neurofeedback, direct training of brain function, to clients who are interested. This may include individuals who have not found success with traditional therapy and are not interested in medication. He also has extensive experience working with individuals with Autism.

While Dr. Rothenberg incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into sessions, his work is more emotionally-focused and relational. He helps his clients gain a better understanding of recurring obstacles and thought patterns that may be interfering with their daily lives and relationships. He believes this is necessary work to do before offering coping skills.

Dr. Rothenberg is committed to helping his clients find the best within themselves and leave feeling empowered to live the life they envision. He looks forward to meeting you.
