Brooke is a Los Angeles-based psychotherapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and the owner of Sawtelle Psychotherapy Group. Brooke specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, uncertainty about values or next steps in life, and critical self-talk.
Brooke completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University in Montréal, Canada and went on to complete a Master of Social Work with a clinical concentration at the Columbia University School of Social Work. While in this program, she was accepted into the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Training Program and Lab, the only program of its kind in a School of Social Work. She completed her clinical internship at the NYU Child Study Center.
Brooke is trained in several evidence-based behavioral therapies and modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
