This eight-week group offers a space for undergraduate students to explore personal and relational challenges and grow into more helpful ways of relating to self and others.
Members help co-create a connected and supportive space to practice and strengthen self-awareness, self-compassion, healthy communication, assertiveness, boundary setting and an overall improvement in relational effectiveness.
In groups, the interplay among participants provides a rich practice space to better get to know and improve how we relate to ourselves and others.
As group sharing unfolds, members practice being present in their bodies, connecting to and vocalizing their emotional experiences with others, and experience being seen and heard.
Group meetings open with a brief mindfulness practice, followed by a fluid group exploration. Commonly explored topics might include self-doubt, anxiety, stress, depression, family issues, dating, career concerns and interpersonal relationships.
You’ll emerge from this group with a more compassionate understanding of your own relational patterns and better practiced towards deeper connection to help you nurture healthier and happier relationships throughout your life.

Michelle Vitale is a licensed counselor and coach working with adults navigating transitions or challenges in their lives, work, or education. Her practice aims to help clients design what’s next and transform their challenges into opportunities for greater learning, possibility, and growth.
Her work with clients blends both compassion and practical skills that holistically support personal and professional development; her clients build clarity, confidence, and take bold action in a fulfilling direction.
Michelle offers individual counseling, coaching or a blend of both. Additionally, Michelle holds group sessions, as she believes the interplay between and among group participants can create exponential possibilities for growth and positive change.
Michelle received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to her work in counseling, she studied Business Administration at Babson College, worked in the private sector (PricewaterhouseCoopers), and spent a year researching women’s leadership in Chile as a Fulbright Scholar.
Her sessions can be in either English or Spanish, and she provides remote therapy sessions as well as in-person.
