Virtual Adult DBT Group- Wed. 12pm-1pm

Description

This group is suitable for any adults who are interested in gaining control of their emotions, learning appropriate boundary setting techniques, and managing anxiety. The group is a 16-week program where participants will learn tangible skills to use in their daily lives to improve their relationships with themselves and others. Group Therapist

Marilyn Grande is a therapist in New York. She works with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression and grief as well as significant life transitions which include loss, divorce, chronic illness or changes in patterns of life. Her practice works with adults virtually to provide clients with flexibility and confidentiality.

Marilyn’s treatment approach is client-centered and collaborative. She will help put clients at ease to uncover current patterns of thoughts, behaviors and emotions and to identify where shifts can happen to be more supportive of themselves and to experience emotional relief. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and grief therapy.

Marilyn enjoys helping people gain greater clarity and insight into themselves, so they can make the necessary changes to feel more at ease with their emotions and interactions with the world. Her hope for her clients is to learn & experience more joy in their lives.

Marilyn received her BA from the University of Notre Dame and her master’s degree from Columbia University School of Social Work. Marilyn enjoys spending time outdoors on trails and near water especially with family and friends.

Marilyn is available for sessions weekdays and evenings.
