Group Therapist
Cori Rosenthal is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#98720) in Los Angeles, CA. She works with teen and adult women who struggle with not feeling good enough. Not thin enough, smart enough, pretty enough, successful enough, or worthy enough to live every part of their dreams. Many of her clients have a critical inner voice constantly reinforcing these negative beliefs. They find it difficult to say what they want, need and feel which can impact them in romantic relationships, family relationships, friendships, asking for their worth in professional relationships and sometimes all of the above. They simply don’t speak up the way they would like to. Sometimes those painful messages translate to challenges with food and body image and eating disorders.
Cori is a mindfulness-based therapist, which means at some point, most of her clients will pause and take a few breaths in session. She is also a trained mindful-self-compassion teacher, so she teaches skills and tools to create a kinder relationship with oneself, that extends into every relationship in one's life. Additionally, she is certified in Brainspotting, a brain-body approach to navigating and releasing trauma and negative emotions.
Cori's office is in Brentwood, and she offers remote sessions to anyone within the state of California. She looks forward to working with you.
