This 6-week group offers a space for adults who have experienced grief and/or trauma to process and heal from painful experiences through writing.
The group will begin with a brief check-in and introduction of a theme/topic (i.e. stages of healing, connecting to others, hope/possibility), followed by several writing prompts, and end with group processing (sharing writing, while encouraged, will not be required).
Group members collectively create a safe and supportive environment to work through the complex emotions involved in the healing process.
You will leave the group with a better understanding of the stories you've been telling yourself, the impact of those stories, and the ability to process your experiences through writing.
