A SAFE SPACE TO BE YOUR BEST SELF

You may feel your true, joyful self is hidden under layers of depression, anxiety, guilt, or shame. Maybe you’re trying to figure out how to achieve your dreams of living the life you were meant to live. Maybe you’re trying to deal with being alone for the first time, or again. Maybe you're feeling buried at work or school or with your family, and you just need a way to breathe. Or maybe you’re trying to manage a relationship that has gotten distant, tense, or is long distance. You may have had a negative experience with therapy in the past, and you need a therapist who can be patient as you build up trust. We get it. We’re on your team, and we’re here to help.

FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

Best Therapies is a therapy group practice in the Chicago land area. Our physical offices are in multiple locations on the northside and Evanston and we do offer some in person sessions, but most of our therapists are primarily doing telehealth sessions with patients all over the state. We offer individual, couples, group, and family therapy sessions. We are also happy to offer sessions for clinical letters including gender transition letters and letters for emotional support animals.

What are your practice's specialties?

We're an inclusive group practice of Emotion Experts, Trauma-Informed Therapists, Gender Guides, and Sex-Positive Relationship Nerds, here to help. We have experts in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship counseling, gender affirming care, stress management, religious trauma, health at any size treatment, and we love working with LGBT+ communities, kink communities, and consensually non-monogamous communities.

Why should I choose your practice?

Best Therapies merges excellent quality clinical care without being stuffy or needlessly formal. Our practice prioritizes training, including Gottman Level 1 Relationship Counseling certification for every therapist in our practice, and special training for working with marginalized populations. Getting into therapy can be really hard, talking about your issues can hard, committing to making big life changes can be hard. Life can be hard- we don't need to make it harder by acting as if we are some weird perfect therapy robot. Our clinicians bring their real selves into the session, and aren't afraid to use humor, warmth, or just common sense to connect with our patients.

How does payment work at your practice?

We're in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Choice, Aetna, and Medicare. If you don't have one of these health insurances, our fees range from $100-$200 for depending on the provider and service offered. We are happy to walk you through how to submit claims for reimbursement for out of network insurance plans and will provide superbills for these plans as needed. We also offer sliding scale services.
