Happy Apple is a group psychotherapy practice based in New York City that offers in-person and online services for clients living in New York, New Jersey, California, Delaware, and Florida. Practitioners are committed to providing quality, scientifically-supported care to children, teens, and adults.

We work with children ages 10 and up, teens, and adults. Our therapists specialize in an array of treatment concerns, populations, and approaches. We often work with couples, families, trauma survivors, and members of the LGBTQ+ community; approaches include Emotionally Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused, Family Systems, Psychodynamic, EMDR, DBT, CBT, and attachment-oriented; and we most commonly treat anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, identity challenges, and low self-esteem.

Our providers are committed to our own growth as well as that of our clients. We prioritize our ongoing education and closely follow the latest research on effective treatments in the field. We look forward to working with you!

What services does your practice offer?

Happy Apple is a full-service psychotherapy practice located in Midtown Manhattan. We offer therapy and coaching to children, teens, adults, families, individuals, and couples. Common areas of treatment are anxiety, depression, low self-worth, stress, LGBTQ concerns, trauma, behavioral & school issues, life transitions (parenthood, marriage, loss, new job, retirement), couples concerns, premarital counseling, and personal growth. With several therapists on board, we are nearly always able to match client goals with therapist specialization.

What are your practice's specialties?

Our therapists specialize in couples counseling, and the treatment of anxiety and depression. We are trained in unique, empirically-validated treatment approaches including (but not limited to) EMDR, CBT, EFT, DBT, and IFS.

How does payment work at your practice?

Happy Apple offers a sliding scale ranging from $185-$260. We collect fees at the time of the session, and are happy to submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf.
