Dr. Amol Chaugule is a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist who provides talk therapy and if needed, medication management. He is open to clients across the state of Texas, Florida and Pennsylvania via Teletherapy. He is currently only accepting patients who are interested in Psychotherapy ( Medications will be prescribed as needed)

Dr. Chaugule has received training in a variety of psychotherapy approaches but specializes in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). ISTDP is a treatment designed to help individuals quickly remove suffering and make the changes they desire in their lives, allowing them to live at their highest level of potential. Dr. Chaugule has done a 3-year core training in ISTDP and continues to refine his skills by learning from the best in the field. Having expertise in psychotherapy helps him prescribe medications only if needed in a conservative and rational way.
Dr. Chaugule completed his residency in Adult Psychiatry at The Pennsylvania State University. He went on to be a Fellow and trainee at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. He is currently also an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Baylor College of Medicine and a staff Psychiatrist at The Menninger Clinic in Houston, Texas.
