Message to clients

Scrolling through profiles to find a therapist can be stressful, when you're already probably really stressed! I imagine you're dealing a lot at this moment and right now are really just hoping that things can change. As social beings, we often feel expected to appear highly functional when we are carrying around so much fear and heartache, be it related to trauma, relationships, perfectionism, change, loss or something as seemingly simple as eating. I also understand the added pressure of having marginalized identities, and the worry that you won't feel safe or seen by a healthcare professional.

I chose to be a therapist because for one, I've seen it help many a time, for many different people. I also deeply enjoy connecting with humans for who they truly are, in their uniqueness and authenticity. To me, therapy is a space to feel known and empowered as you learn about yourself and your relationships, your patterns, and your coping. It is in this space that you're able to find clarity and support as you work towards a life that feels not just livable, but is chosen and meaningful for you.

You're a real person to me, not -just- a "client" or a file on my docket - If we work together, I'd want to get to know you, and you to feel comfortable with me. If you have questions about therapy or would like to get to know me more, please reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consult!
