Cassy Delano is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker located in Boston, MA. Cassy helps clients across a wide range of issues, especially those which arise after a major life transition. She regularly works with students who would like to learn better coping skills to combat the high amount of pressure they face in their classes, social relationships, and personal goals. She also works with clients who feel disconnected from themselves and others, and would like to explore ways to live authentically once more. Cassy helps clients who suffer from the negative impacts of anxiety and depression by offering them strategies to grow their self-compassion.
Cassy’s approach to therapy is collaborative, meaning that she lets the clients drive each session and the overall treatment plan. She incorporates elements of psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and relational therapy. Cassy strives to be a relatable, kind and collaborative therapist. Her goal is to provide a safe space for clients to explore their inner worlds so they can grow and build upon their healthy habits.
Cassy earned a Master’s degree from Boston University School of Social Work. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health. By taking a unique approach to each client, she offers services that are individualized and intentional based on each client’s needs and strengths. She is accepting new clients for tele-health appointments at this time.
