Professional statement

Celestine’s ideal client is someone who is stressed, burned out, or just dealing with everyday life challenges. She gives her clients a “safe space” where they can be heard, freely express themselves, and find better ways to cope. Through their work with Celestine, clients learn to live their best lives with courage, resilience, and acceptance so they can move closer to being their ideal selves.

Celestine listens for the meaning between the words that clients speak so she can provide insight, promote reflection and foster growth. She customizes treatments to each client based on their current issues, needs, and history using a wide range of modalities.

Celestine invites clients to talk about the things they can’t or won’t say for fear of being judged or called a “bad person.” Whether someone is experiencing difficulties at work, school, or in their relationships, Celestine creates a safe haven where clients can always put themselves first.

Message to clients

Frederick Douglas once said, "Without struggle, there can be no progress.” Today, as a society, we are facing a struggle. We're experiencing stress like never before. Our daily roles strain our minds, bodies, and souls. But perhaps this experience will enable you to focus on yourself like you never have before? Let me be your guide and meet you where you’re at in this moment. By working together, we can explore your past and present struggles in order to envision a better future for yourself.

In addition to helping my clients change their negative thought patterns, I also use other treatments to help them cope with difficulties or life transitions. I focus on solutions appropriate for you, the client, concentrating on your awareness, and managing your stress. I believe in creating a “safe space” which nurtures the client-therapist relationship and leads you toward empowerment and growth. I believe in meeting you where you’re at based on your needs, history, and experiences. Working together, we can get you closer to your ideal self- the self you envision without hesitation and fear, but with hope.
