Message to clients

Therapy as a process that puts out as much as you put in. My sessions focus on helping you identify and overcome your true barriers, which may be inhibiting your ability to live a full life. Your barriers may be negative thoughts or experiences, changes in your life (personal or professional), all of which are leaving you feeling lost or confused. These are deeply personal issues for many and affect their ability to feel connected to others or in control of their life.

Whatever life challenges you are struggling with, I see it as my mission to assist you in identifying, understanding, and overcoming those challenges, so you can gain a sense of clarity and control you need to move forward. This means that I listen closely, I reflect and clarify what you are saying or not saying, in ways to help you make sense of thoughts and the experiences happening around you. I have a toolbox full of evidence-based practices available to guide and support you in your journey. I am very visual and may use many metaphors to help you make connections and identify barriers to success. I will challenge you in ways that are meant to help you gain insight into areas you may be avoiding.
