Message to clients

I take an empathetic and supportive approach to treatment in order to help individuals work through their sense of self, relationships, substance use, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and life transitions/situations in order to feel empowered. I can be challenging and direct at times and only if the client is comfortable with this approach. I believe this allows clients to see outside of their own perspective when necessary and consider alternative perspectives that will benefit them. By creating a safe, judgment free space, individuals are able to explore and work on overcoming difficulties in their lives. I often utilize techniques from many therapeutic interventions such as Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to work collaboratively with individuals to help to achieve a growth-oriented experiences.
