Dr. Schwartz specializes in anxiety, depression, college and graduate student mental health, and life transitions. She has particular interest and expertise in working with those who have experienced interpersonal trauma, including sexual assault and harassment.

As an EFT-trained couples therapist, Dr. Schwartz provides the space for open, honest, and responsive interactions between partners. Dr. Schwartz’s style is warm, authentic, and collaborative. She aims to help individuals gain greater self-awareness and self-compassion, empowering them to understand their relational needs and gain the tools to meet them.

In addition to providing traditional couples counseling, Dr. Schwartz offers time-limited premarital counseling using the PREPARE/ENRICH course. Couples who are engaged or dating seriously attend 4-8 sessions with the aim of identifying and working through challenging relationship dynamics.
