As a second-generation immigrant, Irene is honored to work with people of diverse backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. She views therapy through a culturally competent lens and understands that racial, cultural, sexual, and gender identities all play a distinct role in our daily lives. Using techniques like narrative, cognitive behavioral, relational, play and family therapies, she works with clients to address life transitions, communication blocks, family dynamics, and identity development.

Therapy with Irene is intercultural and individualized, meaning that their personal needs come first. By examining the interplay between their identities and interpersonal dynamics, clients explore their journey toward growth and the opportunities for change that lie ahead.
