Jenna Sackman is a psychotherapist who is passionate about working with individuals seeking positive change and compassionate support. She specializes in working with diverse clients, especially young adults, who are navigating through life transitions and who are experiencing anxiety/stress, relationship challenges, low self-esteem and depression.
Jenna believes that while the seeds of change, awareness and deeper understanding of self and others are planted in sessions, actionable change happens in between sessions when clients have the opportunity to put their hard work into practice. Therefore, she is focused on providing her clients with practical skills to successfully and independently navigate through life. Jenna understands that therapy is a huge investment and she, too, is fully invested in helping her clients realize observable change.
Holistic and integrative in her approach, Jenna aims to uniquely tailor therapy sessions to each client’s needs by utilizing a variety of techniques that expand insight and encourage emotional, behavioral and cognitive change. With extensive experience and training in psychotherapy, positive psychology, mindfulness, Buddhist philosophy, meditation and yoga, she often incorporates Western and Eastern healing modalities in order to connect mind, body and soul. Generally, Jenna works to help her clients broaden their awareness, challenge problematic patterns, learn healthy coping skills, live mindfully and authentically and seek their unique version of joy.
Above all, Jenna believes that the strongest therapeutic relationships are built on trust, respect, transparency, empathy and equality, and she always counsels from a nonjudgmental place of understanding and compassion. Her priority is to meet and honor every individual wherever they currently are on their journey and to walk alongside them as they forge their own path.
Jenna is committed to maintaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive practice. Currently, Jenna offers remote therapy sessions and is excited to welcome new clients to her online practice.
