Message to clients

Making the decision to seek therapeutic services can often be an important one for many individuals and parents of children as they navigate a variety of challenges in their life. Some individuals may choose therapy to talk about feelings of sadness, anxiety, or frustration they have felt recently in their lives. For other individuals, they may have noticed a recent change in their child or teens behaviors, such as social withdrawl, anxiety, or non-compliance that seems to be associated with emotional distress. Working with a psychologist when a client or a client's child encounters these moments can provide a great sense of relief and confidence in a family's ability to manage these symptoms and changes in their daily life.

I have spent my life becoming educated so that I would have the opportunity to help children, adolescents, and adults obtain the life they are striving for and the ability to cope with life's adversities.

My education and research background uniquely qualify me to provide care to clients who can benefit from the positive influence of competent psychological care. I am trained to engage clients in a way, using evidence-based treatments, that will encourage them to become active participants in their own therapeutic process.
