Dr Horowitz is an individual and couple therapist who has been in private practice for over thirty years.

She has licenses in New York and New Jersey, And, can see clients for online therapy throughout each state.

In addition to having been an author and teacher on therapeutic technique, Dr. Horowitz has advanced degrees in several treatment modalities and supervises therapists in private practice.

Message to clients

As a psychoanalyst who has been in treatment myself, I strongly believe that psychotherapy is an opportunity for you to grow and change. It helps you to feel more stable inside and self-confident.

My own experience has led me be to believe that a compassionate and interactive approach helps clients to feel safe and secure and is essential for a productive psychotherapy experience.

Another aspect of my treatment approach is to educate clients about the latest research in neuroscience. It emphasizes the role of the brain in shaping the way we feel and explains why it's so hard for most people to just "snap out" of negative feeling states.

If you are interested in finding out more about the way that I work, you can visit my WEBSITE or we could have a 10 minute chat by phone to see if I am the right fit for you.

I look forward to hearing from you.
