Opened in 2015, her mission is to provide counseling services to individuals and couples who are going through life’s challenges and personal difficulties such as relationship issues, losses and separations and are wishing to seek healthy coping and new beginnings.
Families served are from all walks of life including women, young professionals and military families and newly arrived immigrants. We provide in person and Telehealth or virtual sessions, and are open for late and evening appointments and some weekends.
Pandolfi Counseling Associates is a minority, women, and veteran owned business. Maria is an immigrant, who proudly served the United States Military. She speaks Tagalog and other dialects from the Philippines.
She served clients from diverse race, religion, ethnicity and nationality. Dr. Maria Pandolfi has worked and volunteered in various non-profit organizations serving the refugees and immigrants from various nationalities. She has completed multicultural competency training during her graduate and post graduate studies and as part of her licensing requirements.
Maria is also credentialed with several EAP companies based in Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, California areas and the neighboring communities.
Couples counseling - Addressing relationship challenges and life transitions; strengthening communication and feelings of security, desire, connection, and love
Cultural adjustment - Acclimating to a new environment; managing stress and coping with feelings of loss and separation from familiar people and places
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
Veterans' issues - Coping with reactions of exposure to life-threatening or traumatic events; supporting veterans and their families adjusting to civilian life
Women's issues - Therapy tailored to common concerns among women; providing a safe and understanding space to address life challenges, stressors, and questions around identity as a woman
Self-care - Learning what effective self-care looks like and incorporating these strategies into daily life; developing an awareness of wellbeing to identify when one needs to practice self-care
