Mark DeRemer(He/Him/His)

Mark DeRemer is a Psychotherapist in Chicago and received a MA from Adler University. He works with individuals, couples, and families. Many of Mark’s clients come to address trauma, depression, sexual health & dysfunction, couples counseling, life transitions, grief, and loss. Mark is particularly passionate about serving survivors of trauma, individuals struggling with eating disorders, and distorted body image. He has advanced training in the areas of trauma and PTSD, OCD, personality disorder, depression, and addiction.

Mark is trained in ACT therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), Trauma-focused CBT(TF-CBT), and DBT. Mark has always been genuinely interested in the well-being and uniqueness of everybody around him. He believes that anyone can achieve a healthier life when they are in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment. As a therapist, Mark believes that the most crucial aspect of therapy is to respect the client’s independence by having a genuine connection during the process of therapeutic intervention.

Mark is currently conducting therapy via telehealth. He accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Cigna and United Healthcare insurance.
