Professional statement

Michelle Fehlman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She practices in California, Colorado, Nevada and Utah. She specializes in treating adults, couples and families who are looking to increase communication and build deeper and more meaningful relationships at home, work, school, etc. She also works with clients to create a life that is balanced, whole and thriving.

She is a trained Gestalt therapist and Mindfulness expert that helps her clients discover how their unconscious decision-making is getting in the way of the life they want and leading them to repeat the same patterns over and over again. She uses her skills and expertise to guide clients in uncovering these internal processes and relational patterns, and leads them on a journey of discovery and understanding of self and how they relate to others. Whether you engage in therapy as an individual, couple, or family, Michelle can help you increase self-awareness, gain deeper understanding, build deeper connections and create more meaningful relationships.

Michelle approaches every client with compassion and empathy, and uses curiosity and interest to lead client's on a journey of healing, discovery and growth. Michelle is available for remote sessions and looks forward to hearing from you.

Message to clients

I believe in the value of deep connection with others, and the impact that relationships can have on us personally and on the world at large. I believe that a commitment to doing the work and being a true version of yourself has transformative power that impacts and inspires.

Therapy is not always an easy journey, or a “wake up and everything is better” experience. It is a beautiful unfolding and discovery of yourself that takes place over time. It is trying on versions of yourself that you had long ago diminished and dismissed. Showing up in an authentic way helps us feel more energized and alive. This is what I want to help my clients discover. To lead them on a journey back to themselves. Not chasing a life of “what I should be” or “I will be happy when….” , but to see the magic that already exists inside of them.

Once you learn how to be authentically you, it will change how you relate in the world and open up opportunities and possibilities! It will bring fullness to relationships and interactions with others, creating deeper and more meaningful experiences. Getting what you want from relationships is never about being something different, which is being “less” you. It is about bringing the parts of you that you are holding back, diminishing, or ignoring. It is about being vulnerable and true to yourself, and feeling the joy of fully engaging and participating in your life.
