As both a licensed psychologist and BCBA, Dr. Pesca specializes in the areas of anxiety and stress management, life transitions, interfering behaviors and parenting challenges. She sees individuals with generalized and specific anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, ADHD, skill deficits, and a wide range of childhood behavioral issues. Dr. Pesca sees children, teens, and adults, and also welcomes family sessions.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities, Dr. Pesca places strong emphasis on the development of social, coping, and problem-solving skills. She utilizes behavioral, cognitive-behavioral (CBT and ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches in her practice.
