She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused behavioral therapy (SFBT), Mindful Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and life coaching when appropriate.

As a Certified Pet Loss and Bereavement Specialist, Dr. Curotto has extensive experience working with individuals who are coping with recent or past loss of their beloved pet or who are anticipating the loss of a pet. Dr. Curotto has a deep understanding of how pet loss grief can be socially stigmatizing and how it can lead to disenfranchised grief.

Dr. Curotto welcomes all cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs. She believes everyone has a unique story that has shaped who they are today. She is there to support her patients as they navigate life’s challenges. She looks forward to meeting you.

Message to clients

My treatment style is interactive, and my approach includes exploring mental/emotional, spiritual, and physical needs and identifying your strengths and gifts. I embrace the importance and uniqueness of diverse cultural backgrounds and their influence in your life. I take a three-tiered approach to supporting you as you navigate pet loss. While some individuals may benefit from individual-focused pet loss treatment, others may benefit from support groups, pet loss consultation, and grief support.
