Professional statement

Nicole has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, ranging from school and agency to private practice settings. Over the past 5 years, Nicole has built and is the owner and head Psychotherapist at Perspective Clinical Therapy PLLC., a private practice in the loop area of Chicago. Nicole practices from a person-centered, holistic approach, eluding significant value on the therapeutic relationship in order to initiate an atmosphere of acceptance and compassion. Nicole works with clients who have a readiness to change, coupled with an interest to find alternative methods, perspective, tools, and action, to ultimately cultivate the motivation necessary for change to occur.

When attending a session with Nicole for the first time, whether it be your first time in therapy or your 100th, Nicole’s goal is to have you feel understood and heard, by offering a relatable and warm experience that prepares both of you for a mutual partnership of working toward your individual goals.

Nicole strongly believes that change does not happen overnight, and it is a process, but with all processes, it is a reaction between two things or two people, not just one. She invites you to start that process with her now, and thus, with organization and compartmentalization, sort through each problem area together.

Message to clients

Making the decision to talk to someone is the foundation to your journey. From our first meeting, I aim to provide you the space and warmth to easefully process whatever is on your mind. The word “Therapy” can be anxiety-provoking in itself. I hope each session with me is the opposite of that feeling, and rather, empowering, non-judgmental, and relatable. As your therapist, I couple organic conversation, with productivity toward your short-term or long-term goals. If your goals feel unclear to you, we work as a team to align you with your values, and a direction.

I am experienced working with Adult and Adolescent individuals struggling with a range of difficulties, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Trauma, confidence and self-esteem, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, life transitions/losses, relationship struggles, and communication and interpersonal effectiveness. I help guide you into a day-to-day, momentum, that honors your unique values and commitment to self.

Please contact me via email to discuss scheduling an initial session, and we’ll start our work together from there.
