Randi Waller is a licensed professional counselor in Houston, TX and works primarily with couples and individuals (18 and older). Many of Randi’s clients come in to address depression, low self-worth, relationship challenges, and healing from trauma. Randi is particularly passionate about serving women, young adults beginning their professional lives, as well as couples who are struggling with conflict resolution.
Randi is experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), existential/humanistic therapy, and motivational interviewing, in which we explore patterns of behavior and preconceived ideas about what a successful and/or happy life should look like. In session, Randi focuses on examining problematic beliefs and thoughts as well as exploring new ways to look at life. This approach supports clients to feel more aware and confident of their own wants and needs.
Randi's style is caring, supportive, and non-judgmental. When clients first start therapy, she will foster a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their most vulnerable selves.
Randi received her Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston. Prior to beginning her career as a counselor, she worked in corporate settings, where she gained years of experience in an office setting developing diverse relationships and supporting leadership. Outside of private practice, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Pippa and is newly enamored with hiking and exploring National Parks. Randi is only offering virtual sessions at this time.
