Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSWHe/Him/His
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSWRayshawn Ledet is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. He offers therapy services to people in New Jersey via Telehealth. He works with adults (18+) who are experiencing mental distress. Although the details may differ, many of his clients come in when they’re seeking some form of guidance, understanding, and Insight into their given situation. While Rayshawn has experience serving many different populations, he is particularly passionate about helping men due to the stigma associated with men and mental health within society.
Rayshawn has experience utilizing several modalities when working with clients, such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-focused therapy.
The beginning of the therapeutic journey will focus on establishing a therapeutic relationship. Rayshawn learns the client’s story of how they ultimately came to meet during this time. From there, he will create a custom treatment plan tailored to the client’s needs to achieve their desired outcome.
Throughout the therapeutic journey, Rayshawn learns how the client thinks, how those thoughts influence their emotions, and how they affect their behavior/actions. He uses this information to help the client identify anything interfering with the client’s quality of life. He empowers the client by educating them on utilizing healthy coping techniques for symptom and stress management.
Rayshawn Ledet received his undergraduate and master’s degree from Rutgers University. He gained experience working at Penn Medicine Princeton House Behavioral Health while receiving clinical supervision from senior-level therapists. Rayshawn is currently becoming a certified CBT therapist from the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy to hone his therapeutic skillset further as CBT is considered the gold standard of psychotherapy.
Outside of private practice, Rayshawn creates YouTube videos related to mental health.
