Dr. Chung integrates a variety of treatment modalities in her practice, including emotionally-focused therapy, future-directed therapy, mindfulness techniques, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. She specializes in exploring how past relational experiences impact your ability to connect meaningfully with others. Her integrative approach helps you re-story your narrative and develop goals that are congruent with your values.

Message to clients

Finding the right therapist is like dating- it’s all about the connection! A strong therapeutic alliance fosters confidence in your therapist, which allows you to trust the process of therapy and how it can help you on your journey of self-exploration and healing. I believe in the importance of having the right fit; if I am not the one for you, I will gladly help you find someone who help you better. I want you to thrive and be the awesome person (or couple) that you are!

People enter therapy for a number of reasons; you don’t have to be “broken” or have a diagnosis to benefit from therapy. In fact, having a good therapist in your corner can be a factor in life satisfaction because you have an objective professional who is not in your life and will always be on your side to improve the things that are important to you. I hope you don’t think that your reasons for seeking therapy are small or minor; if it is important to you, then it is important to me. We are always in the process of becoming. We are on this journey together.
