Professional statement

Congratulations on taking steps to feel better! Many people struggle with regulating intense emotions, lack impulse control, or use self-harming behaviors. Some find themselves in in high conflict relationships or have difficulty creating and maintaining boundaries. Even more people are plagued with negative thoughts, paralyzing procrastination, or excessive rumination that hold them back from living a vibrant life. If these symptoms resonate with you I'd like to help you overcome obstacles so you can create a life you love!

In my role as a Dialectic Behavior Therapist I support you to identify and process thoughts, feelings, sensations and learn to respond effectively - keeping in mind your goals. I use DBT, CBT and MI modalities (including Mindfulness and Somatic strategies) to meet with teens and adults for individual, couples and family counseling.

Supervised by Dr. David Abrams PhD. I am a LMSW, graduated from Columbia University SchooI of Social Work in Advanced Clinical Practice. Currently pursuing DBT-Linehan Board of Certification (DBT-LBC). LGTBQ, BIPOC Allied.
