Stephanie Podasca, MA is a Romanian-American counselor and artist living in Portland, OR. She is pre-licensed in both Oregon and Washington allowing her to work with clients in both states.

Her practice, Whole Sky Therapy, aims to offer a compassionate and non-pathologizing environment to support people’s healing. In working with adults, Stephanie views their concerns from a trauma-informed lens and blends theories based on western neurobiology and eastern wisdom. Clients can expect to learn helpful tools to stabilize their difficult emotions and make progress towards their behavioral goals, all while cultivating meaningful self-care and self-compassion for every part of their journey. Whole Sky Therapy is committed to the principles of nonjudgment, creativity, nonviolence, and organicity.

Stephanie has a diverse background working with a range of individuals in doing community service throughout the years. She has worked with Recovery Dharma, a Buddhist recovery program, the Children’s Healing Art Project, Magic Wheelchair, and has volunteered on the National Suicide Hotline. Other professional interests include art therapy, holistic and somatic approaches, attachment theory, psychedelic therapy and integration, and staying connected to nature.

Stephanie has flexible availability for regular counseling sessions, is highly communicative, and plans to stick with telehealth and walking sessions for the foreseeable future.

Message to clients

Welcome to my page - it's so nice to meet you!

It's important to me to make therapy with you as safe and collaborative as possible. I never take the stance of an expert on you or your life and my knowledge is here to be shared with you, so that you can feel empowered to make lasting changes and heal those old wounds that are continuing to get in your way.

I want to help you feel safe in your body, stand in your power, and create your most authentic life by cultivating curiosity, compassion, and getting to the root of your issues.

I believe that therapy is an active process and that YOU direct and do most of the work. The time between sessions is just as important as the time we work face-to-face. The process looks different for everyone, and it’s so important that you feel you can share when things both are and are not working for you. I truly value client feedback and work diligently to incorporate this to create true collaboration and growth throughout the therapeutic process.

Thank you for checking out my profile - I hope that you are finding something that resonates with your current and future self. It is very important to find the right fit and someone you feel safe to share vulnerably with.

Please do not hesitate to reach out for a free consultation and ask questions about my perspective and process.
