The Mother Daughter Project

Description

This group is for moms and their 5th grade daughters. The group is based on the book "The Mother-Daughter Project" by SuEllen Hamkins, MD and Renee Schultz, MA. The group is a closed group of no more than eight moms and their daughters.

We meet monthly beginning in 5th grade and go through high school together. The group serves multiple functions including providing a safe and confidential community for the moms and their daughters to deal with different developmental and social issues, communication issues and life pressures that occur during the pre-adolescent and adolescent years.
