Practice Information

We offer mental, emotional, behavioral, psychological therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, parents, families, and couples who are struggling with life changes and stressors, such a behavioral or emotional concerns, that can include anxiety, depression, and trauma; or other stressors, such as trauma, and grief and loss; or major life changes, such as divorce/separation, high-conflict co-parenting, reunification/re-entegration, domestic violence, substance use/addition, and/or legal problems.

Our therapists have specific training, education, and experience in treating children and adolescents with play, art, experiential therapy that includes the parents and the client's ecology like their school and community in applying behavioral strategies to improve behavior and emotions; and increase problem solving, coping skills, and communication skills. Our therapists also have experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, managing any type of risks, such as self-harm, suicidal thoughts, domestic violence, as well as substance use/addiction, and other life and family stressors and transitions.

Our therapists come from a person/client-centered approach to build trust and rapport with clients first. We also use cognitive, behavioral, strategic, family/systems, solution-focused, and other interventions to make change happen. We use Gottman and EFT to address couple and family issues; and are culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and abide by laws/ethics to protect clients. What services does your practice offer?

We offer child, adolescent, and family/parenting therapy and support. As well as individual therapy for adults, and couples therapy. We also offer co-parenting therapy and support, and reintegration/reunification family therapy.

What are your practice's specialties?

We specialize in child and adolescent therapy utilizing play, art, and experiential therapy, such as Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Child Parent Relational Therapy (CPRT), which also incorporate aspects of Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and filial and family play therapy. We support parents with parent coaching, as well as co-parenting support, and high-conflict parallel parenting support, and family therapy. We offer couples therapy to address communication, connection, intimacy, and infidelity issues, using Gottman Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). We offer individual adult therapy to address anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use/addiction, and other mental and behavioral health issues with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, etc.

We accept Medicaid. We also offer private pay, if needed, at a reduced-rated and sliding-fee scale, if applicable.
