Professional statement

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over twenty years of experience. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University. I have worked as an outpatient therapist, both in-person and remotely, and have worked for a leading managed care organization.

I have experience treating clients with mood disorders, anxiety, eating disorders, substance use disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, bereavement and those going through various life transitions. I utilize modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Narrative Medicine. I work with adolescents, adults, older adults, and families.

I collaborate with you to create a space in which you feel safe. I respect the power of the therapeutic alliance and work with you to develop a unique therapeutic bond. Whether it’s the third session or the thirtieth, I continue to meet you where you are, empowering you toward achieving your desired outcome.
