Professional statement

Angguna Rowe is a Licensed Professional Counselor located in West Virginia. Angguna works with individuals and couples on topics such as life transitions, anger management, challenges at work or school, grief, identity, and more. Often, Angguna’s clients face anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or other mental health conditions. She particularly enjoys working with working professionals, college students; women, and men in midlife, helping them adjust to new life stages and navigate the many stressors that come with this aspect of life.

Angguna’s approach to therapy blends together several evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness practices. Clients learn more about their mental health and their emotions, reflecting on their life’s journey and past resilience. They implement positive thought patterns as well as create self-compassionate ground rules when it comes to the relationship they have with themselves. Through sessions with Angguna, clients grow their self-understanding and what happiness and success means to them.

Angguna earned a Master’s degree from Liberty University. She has past experience working in community clinics working with young people and families. She also previously worked in the school setting and is an understanding and nonjudgmental therapist.

Message to clients

There is a period in everybody’s journey when we feel so different and out of place because we start to do new things, grow, and face life changes. We feel stuck in our old way of living, a life that no longer fits our circumstances—the lonely chapter in the middle of our willingness to reach our goals. I would say I have never met a person in my life that has gone from the place where they are to the place they want to go that has not gone through this chapter. You don’t have to walk this path alone.

Hi, my name is Angguna Rowe; whether you battle Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, or other mental health disorders that lead to self-doubt, procrastination, negative intrusive thoughts, various types of relationship issues, and indecisive career paths, I will meet you where you are in the therapy process; I look forward to meeting you!
