Message to clients

I believe that therapy should be a safe space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and actions. In sessions, I work with you to determine what you want goals you want to focus on and what tools fit your life. We'll build practical coping skills, explore parts of yourself so that you can live a life driven by authenticity, overcome fears/worries, and rebuild thought patterns to have more self-compassion. My hope is that through our work together you feel a sense of control over your symptoms and to feel empowered to live a life that algins with who you are.

In our free consultation together, we'll explore a little bit of where you are in life and what you might want to work on in our sessions. We'll also discuss my approach to therapy as well as if we would be a good fit for each other. In our first session together, we'll go more in depth about your past and present experiences, and generate some goals for therapy. In future sessions, we'll determine what would be best to focus on based on your goals, what is going on in your life at the time, and what you might need. At the end of sessions, we'll also discuss different ways to put what we discussed in session into practice between sessions.
