Professional statement

Camille is a dedicated therapist deeply committed to empowering her clients within the BIPOC community and their journey toward holistic healing and self-discovery.

Camille has dedicated her career to working with clients in minoritized populations. She specializes in working with professionals, especially those who identify with the Black community. A lot of the challenges her clients face are surrounding identity and race-related trauma. Many of her clients who sit across from her experience various types of discrimination, microaggressions, or racism that heavily impact their ability to do their absolute best. She also supports interracial couples in navigating the layers of their relationship.

Among Camille’s assets are her empathy and compassion for her clients. She values getting to know each and every one as an individual and has a strong ability to create a warm space to hold people’s hurt and pain. After obtaining her degree from USC, Camille has trained in the community as a mentor and school counselor for underprivileged youth, families who struggle with addiction, and individuals who have faced a history of traumatic incidents. Camille utilizes evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, tailored to honor the specific needs and experiences of each client she serves.

Camille’s passion for helping comes from her experiences being biracial and the challenges that naturally arise from that. It was these same experiences of meshing two worlds that fueled her dedication to serving those who have struggled with their identity and the traumas that come with bridging many cultures. Her background and training bring a profound understanding of the unique challenges and strengths within diverse cultural backgrounds.

Through therapy, Camille is committed to helping her clients rewrite their stories and create a different ending.

Message to clients

My approach to therapy is always person first, therapist second. My work is rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and social justice advocacy.

In sessions with me, you can expect warmth and a genuine curiosity about you and your experiences. I'll be asking you questions to better understand who you are, since I believe that there isn't a one-size-fits-all in therapeutic approaches. I am also big on teaching you skills to help you alleviate the stress or feelings in between our sessions.

Understanding the importance of culturally responsive therapy, I create a nurturing environment where my clients feel heard and validated. I take a collaborative approach so that you feel empowered in your sessions. I create a space where you can explore your narrative and together, I can help you heal and grow.
