Professional statement

Hello! I’m Danielle and I practice in Providence and Kent County, Rhode Island. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a feminist, an optimist and of course, a therapist. I would descrbe myself as adaptable, compassionate, empathetic, friendly, funny, gentle, passionate, patient and reliable. I pride myself on building a healthy and trusting relationship with my clients where they feel comfortable being their true selves and working through anything they may be struggling with. I genuinely want you to look forward to therapy, even when it’s uncomfortable.

I’ve been working in the fields of mental health and substance abuse treatment for 8 years. I've worked in a variety of treatment settings with a variety of clients ranging from children to elderly but I most enjoy working with teens and young adults. I also enjoy working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, offering gender affirming and sex positive care.

My therapeutic style is casual, warm & interactive. I embrace an eclectic style and draw from the person-centered approach. I strive to meet clients "where they are" and do my best to tailor treatment to my client’s wants and needs.

I am confident that you are an expert on your own life and I am just here to help you navigate the difficulties and ‘untangle’ things, if you will. It takes a lot of courage to decide to begin therapy and I am happy to hear from you! Please feel free to reach out!
