Danielle Naghi (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York. She works with teens, adults, and couples who are experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship and family concerns, academic stressors, and identity development. In all areas of her work, Danielle strives to create an environment focused on social justice. It is deeply important to her that she is able to help clients navigate issues related to experiences of racism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, ableism, and sexism.
Danielle approaches treatment from a holistic and multi-varied lens, integrating models such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), the Ackerman Relational Approach, and Trauma Theory. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience & Behavior, and her Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University. Additionally, Danielle has postgraduate training in couples and family therapy from the Ackerman Institute, as well as training as an IFS therapist. Prior to starting her private practice, Danielle provided psychotherapy in community-based and school-based settings. Danielle also supervises a relationship abuse prevention program for young people.
