Congratulations on taking the courageous step of seeking a therapist. I am a first-generation Ghanaian, passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health within the BIPOC community. With a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, I bring nine years of experience in the field. My expertise lies in assisting clients dealing with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, family and generational trauma, ADHD, ASD, substance use disorders, perinatal substance use disorders, perinatal mental health, and adjustment disorders. I also work with families involved with DCF, individuals with special needs (ASD), and those experiencing family conflicts.
I utilize a strength-based approach that integrates various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, transgenerational therapy, structural therapy, and psychoeducation. My aim is to create a safe and supportive space, meeting you where you are and helping you achieve your treatment goals to lead a fulfilling life.
