Garrett Shotwell, LMSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in Ann Arbor, MI, specializing in anxiety, depression, and trauma within LGBTQ+ communities. Garrett approaches therapy from a client centered, humanistic approach that is deeply rooted in empathy and understanding. For Garrett, human connection is at the center of the therapeutic relationship. Garrett meets you where you are, and helps bolster your relationships with all your different parts by using many evidenced-based methodologies and interventions.

Garrett primarily works with individuals and couples aged 16+. On a personal note, Garrett enjoys his time engaging in hiking, yoga, and hanging with his husband and three pups!

Once there, I believe in helping you tend to the parts that need healing, accepting and integrating so you can feel centered in your authentic self.
