Jesse works with teens and adults experiencing stress and burnout, using a scientific approach to whole-body self-care.
Jesse is a collaborative and active therapist who works with the person who on the surface appears to “have it together,” but is feeling the effects of burnout on a physical and emotional level. She helps her clients develop self-care habits that actually work by blending a holistic approach with her background in psychological research. Jesse often works with young adults managing chronic illnesses. She also supports LGBTQ+ questioning teens safely explore their identities. In her work with couples, Jesse helps those navigating non-traditional relationship styles. Jesse’s work is grounded in the belief that well-being encompasses the spiritual, emotional, and biological aspects of the human experience.
Jesse’s warm, open and interactive nature helps her clients feel supported and empowered to reach their goals. She utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic, and Positive Psychology techniques. She specializes in trauma and LGBTQ+-specific concerns, and her work is trauma literate, sex/body positive, spiritually open, LGBTQ+ affirming, and kink/sex-worker allied.
