Professional statement

As a Licensed Master Social Worker, Kristen works with clients of all ages and backgrounds. Her speciality focuses on clients facing life transitions, specifically the struggles, feelings and situations that arise during these phases of life.

Message to clients

My path to becoming a therapist began with my personal journey towards purpose and an understanding of self. I practice from a strengths-based perspective, helping clients recognize and utilize the tools and abilities they already possess to address challenges that arise in life. As we continue our work together, cognitive, behavioral, and psychodynamic methods, coupled with mindfulness, form the basis for our process. Together, we will devise manageable, strategic goals and a plan to get there. Each client is unique and there is no one size fits all approach. Flexibility, trust, and openness are key to the experience.
