Melissa Janosek (she/her) is a licensed clinical therapist based in San Francisco specializing in work with young professionals who are navigating relationships and dating, career and work related stressors, family dynamics and life transitions.
Melissa Janosek completed clinical training at Barry University in Miami, FL in 2005. Her professional pursuits lead her to the Bay Area, a slice of California that she considers home, now having spent the majority of her career working between Oakland and San Francisco. Her clinical orientation encompasses evidence based practices such as CBT, EFT, relational and strengths based modalities to provide an integrated therapy approach that is tailored to your needs. Melissa Janosek brings 20 years of professional experience in the healthcare and mental health industry to her private practice having worked in a variety of settings providing direct clinical services to program development, management and clinical supervision.
For the safety of the community during the pandemic and to increase access for mental health support psychotherapy services have moved online. Clients are able to receive the same high quality care through Telehealth without ever having to commute to an office or look for parking! You will just need a good WiFi connection and a private space to talk to begin. Ideally sessions are held on a weekly basis following a free initial phone consultation for clients based anywhere in California.
