He/Him/His
Marriage and Family Therapist, MFTHe/Him/His
Marriage and Family Therapist, MFTNils Ringo is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a private practice in Seattle, Washington. He works with individuals and relationships to help them experience healing and growth in their lives. Many people who see Nils identify stuck patterns and places in their lives. Stuck in relationships, in difficult emotions, in distress and overwhelm. It is hard to see a way forward without help. Therapy with Nils brings awareness and understanding to his clients and ultimately transforms the stuckness/pain/distress into healing and growth. He helps people process through difficult experiences and emotions in order to emerge as a more free and whole version of themselves.
Nils received his Masters in Couples & Family Therapy at Seattle University. His training and personal experiences help him recognize how people are impacted by all things in life including their families, society, forms of oppression, sex, religion and spirituality, and people's inherent strengths and resilience. He approaches therapy with authenticity, heart, and candor. The therapeutic approaches he uses help people to work through trauma, to learn to see and treat themselves more compassionately (instead of critically), and to practice healing where there is pain and fear. As individuals, partners, and families learn and internalize their own healing and growth, their relationships also transform.
Nils offers virtual sessions only at the moment for people in the Seattle area and residents of Washington State.
