Message to clients

I appreciate that meeting with a new therapist can feel daunting. I am happy to answer any questions to help make this process a little easier. To get started, we would meet for an hour to discuss your concerns and what you are seeking in terms of treatment. At the end of that meeting, I will offer my diagnostic impressions and recommendations. If we determine that the treatment I provide is a good fit for you, we can schedule another visit to discuss a plan. If I am not the right fit, I will offer referrals to more appropriate providers.

In the course of therapy, I work to understand my clients, approach problems collaboratively, offer new skills and insights, and seek feedback to improve treatment. My goal is for you to leave treatment with better self-understanding, new coping skills, and the freedom and confidence to pursue whatever you choose in life.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to learn more about my practice Nene Psychology.
