Professional statement

I received my Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and my Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from the State University of New York at Oneonta.

I have experience in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders, including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

I encourage using learned coping strategies rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and a strengths-based approach to help one build on your capabilities to navigate life transitions and other challenges. I use a client-centered approach to create goals together to increase meaning, wellness, and flow in everyday life.
